  • slowing climate change,
  • improving air quality in order to strengthen health.

Companies and their employees may apply for additional income beyond savings, as well as for UN upgrading certification.

Application requirement: the use of fossil or bio-fuels and their upgrading into Energy Transition Fuel.

Eco-labelled fuel certification, which is carried out under the United Nations system for training and research institutions for government leaders, governments, international authorities and their leadership (CIFAL and UNITAR), appointed through the Green Plus Group, and can be easily and simply validated within the project.

Tender CO2 reduction

For obtaining the ECO-labelled Energy Transition Fuel certification, the order form can be downloaded at: green_plus_megrendelo_iso_14001_18001_26001_50001-hez.pdf

After completing it, please send the order to the following address: (rendeles@greenplusfuel.com)

Companies, institutions, enterprises, and individuals participating in the application must enter the text "CO2 Emission Reduction Recognition Project" in the discount category field of the order form, which entitles the applicant to a discount of 9 HUF + VAT. The procurement discount within the application is valid only for the contractual period related to service fees. The contract may be renewed and continued multiple times. In addition to generating multiple returns through green procurement, the application also provides opportunities and payments for employees within the company:

1 HUF to 8 HUF per liter of fuel

A CO₂ reduction proportional compensation is granted to employees (or employee(s)) of the company that generates profit through CO₂ reduction. The company is also entitled to use the UN ECO certification and Energy Transition Fuel logo on fuel pumps, fuel tanks, correspondence, offers, tenders, and contracts.

Tender CO2 reduction

The Green Plus logo, the ECO-labelled Energy Transition Fuel emblem, and the UNITAR and CIFAL logos may only be used by authorized parties under contract. Any unauthorized use will result in liability for damages by parties not entitled to use the logos.

The annual corporate Green Certification (Eco-Innovation, Energy Efficiency, and Sustainability Certificate) is issued for yearly fuel upgrading and can be earned through the use of Green Plus Fuel technology. In tenders, procurement processes, and contract awards, it may provide additional points, and contracts and projects have already been won using Green Plus.

The Recognition Project requires the use of the Green Plus active ingredient as a mandatory component, as without it the Energy Transition Fuel standard category qualification and ECO-ÖKO label certification cannot be fulfilled. In other applications, the use of the Green Plus active ingredient is not mandatory. However, since many of the mandatory evaluation criteria include strategic and specification-based scoring advantages linked to the use of the Green Plus formula, additional points may be awarded where the application and its practical implementation reference or include the use of the Green Plus active ingredient.

Due to the multiple corporate (health, technical, financial, and asset protection) risks and cost reductions resulting from the use of Energy Transition Fuel, the financial compensation for employees operating the company is structured as follows:

Example in simplified terms:

For 100,000 liters of diesel fuel, the payment starts at 180,000 HUF, and for 1,000,000 liters of diesel fuel, it starts at 1.8 million HUF, as payroll-calculated and net-of-contributions service fees or as external invoiced amounts including VAT, funded by the Recognition Project. This applies to employees who participate in the 2020–2030 Energy Transition Fuel World Program by signing and fulfilling the service agreement.

There are no minimum or maximum limits regarding the volume of fuel that can be upgraded or certified.

There are no minimum or maximum limits regarding participating companies and employees.

The minimum service fee is based on the CO₂ emission reduction of the fuel, using the CO₂ kg multiplier per kilogram or liter of fuel, according to the 7% ECO-ÖKO certification.

CF = ETF liters × CO₂ kg × (RQF%/10)

Based on this formula, fees can be calculated as described in the downloadable document.

The Recognition Project supports the use of Energy Transition Fuel to improve company competitiveness, reduce costs, and lower CO₂ emissions. Through eco-labelled fuel usage and certification, the Sustainable Development Goals of the Paris Climate Agreement can be achieved more efficiently and rapidly, which is considered critically important and defining in the history of humanity today.

Tender CO2 reduction

The Green Plus Group also purchases CO₂ quotas from emission source points of pollution, where it carries out its climate protection activities. It supports not only large companies but also small enterprises and individual entrepreneurs.

RECOGNITION PROJECT IN LINE WITH THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Within the United Nations Energy Transition Fuel World Program, the objective of the Recognition Project is to demonstrate through direct experience that climate protection also brings both long-term and short-term economic benefits. It strengthens supply chain security and reduces financial, health, environmental, and epidemic-related risks associated with global warming, in which every individual has responsibility and an active role.

Communities, districts, and municipalities are significantly affected, and there is a direct interaction between a given area or region’s health, economic, and competitiveness indicators, as well as its cognitive speed and risk recognition and response time, and the quality of the air. Air pollution levels are influenced by the activities of companies operating nearby, which in turn affect and reshape the conditions for sustainability in the region.

Tender CO2 reduction

Note: the English word “transition” means transition or transformation.

Energy Transition Fuels play a vital role during the transitional period. They do not shift climate emergency responsibility to future solutions, but instead focus on improving current energy efficiency and on reducing air pollutants and harmful emissions as much as possible.

How does the application, tender, and reward system work?

Within the application, employees responsible for monitoring purchased and used fuels may continue to use their own reporting systems as they have done previously. If external subcontractors or consultants are engaged for this task, this does not hinder participation in the application. The service fee is paid to the contractor by the Recognition Project linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in accordance with official national accounting regulations.

Companies may continue their previous fuel procurement contracts, and they may also conclude new contracts with other suppliers.

In other words, everything continues as usual in the company’s operations; however, the company’s efficiency is supported by external financial resources for participants in the application.

The basis of the auditing fee for one year or one contractual period of upgraded and certified Energy Transition Fuel usage is the CO₂ reduction fee calculated at 7%, multiplied by the fuel type and the contractual fuel volume.

CO₂ reduction above 7%, i.e. reduction in fuel consumption, is therefore a matter of supervision and verification—whether ECO-ÖKO Label certified fuel usage is actually implemented in practice.

For additional service fee payments, the reports must include at least three main elements:

  • the quantity and type of fuel consumed (liters/kg), for example: 15,400 liters of gasoline with 7% bio-content, and 432,110 liters of diesel with 5% bio-content
  • operating hours and/or mileage achieved using the consumed fuel, for example: 12,104 km on 95-octane gasoline, 3,211 km on 98-octane gasoline, or 32,988 km on diesel and 60,011 operating hours on diesel
  • the most relevant load-related parameter for the applicant (e.g. electricity generation, steam production, tonnage load, hectares, drilling depth, flight altitude, distance against headwind, propeller operating hours, meteorological data, geo-data, passenger count, etc.)

Among more than 600 fuel consumption and monitoring parameters, the relevant load indicators may be included in the reports. While this may create a complex dataset for company management, it is extremely useful for energy efficiency auditors.

Secondary load indicators also bring the company closer to a more accurate and useful understanding of real energy consumption.

It is important that owners and management are aware of “energy gaps,” which should be addressed through increased monitoring, training, social sensitivity, life-cycle planning, global guidelines, and a systems-based collaborative approach.

The reporting person provides only the data they choose to submit for participation in the application. This may include the above three main categories or additional data for more accurate comparison. This is a condition for additional compensation beyond the auditing fee. Without reporting, only the basic auditing fee is paid to the contractor. The motivational power of the application lies in the CO₂ reduction exceeding 7% and its further improvement and corresponding additional rewards, which are directly proportional.

Any CO₂ reduction achieved by a company, enterprise, or institution above the 7% threshold results in additional performance-based payment to the contractor(s), based on the CO₂ reduction achieved per fuel type.

Why is it necessary to monitor Energy Transition Fuel usage?

Fuel certified under the ECO-labelled Energy Transition Fuel category (Green Plus-containing fuel) operates engines, boilers, and turbines with significantly lower emissions (ultra-low emission fuel) and improved energy efficiency. Based on international and domestic experience, monitored systems produce more reliable and effective results in everyday operation.

Therefore, monitoring must be given special emphasis. It must be accurate, regulated, and continuous, ensuring proper registration of incoming and used fuel upgrades, which requires attention and accurate logging of real usage.

In some cases, a record must be made if the consumed fuel only meets standard specifications due to error or omission and does not meet Energy Transition Fuel category standards or ECO-ÖKO certification requirements, because the necessary upgrading was not carried out, or insufficient ECO Label components were ordered for the full fuel quantity. In such cases, the 7% CO₂ reduction and 7% energy efficiency improvement cannot be claimed for the untreated quantity.

It is recommended to use smart dispensing systems as state-supported development or energy efficiency investment tools to prevent such errors.

Internal company reporting and monitoring processes may be supported by asset protection, monitoring, diagnostic, and black-box systems. We can also provide guidance and assistance for their implementation and targeted use if required.

Who can act as a reporting or monitoring person in the application?

Any employee with access rights to the institution’s, company’s, or enterprise’s energy-related data may perform this role. No formal energy auditor qualification or certification is required. In the long term, however, it is highly beneficial for ISO certifications, energy efficiency audits, and mandatory energy savings reporting if these datasets are already compiled. The role may be filled by company executives, managing directors, procurement managers, energy managers, fuel administrators, logistics managers, or any relevant staff member. It is not position-dependent or ownership-dependent. The only requirement is authorized access to the company’s energy data, as without it, proper data analysis cannot be performed.

How many auditors or contractors can a company have, and how many contracts are required?

A service contract applies to one company, enterprise, or institution and its CO₂ emission reduction program. The number of contractors within a contract may be one or multiple without limitation.

When multiple contractors work under one contract, the CO₂ reduction—or, in practical terms, fuel consumption reduction—is calculated collectively, and auditing fees are distributed equally among participants regardless of individual contribution time.

Tasks must be carried out jointly and with shared responsibility in the interest of a common objective. This is presented as improving market competitiveness, cost reduction, efficiency, and savings that can be reinvested into development, investment, salary increases, or hiring. Ultimately, however, it is framed as contributing to a more livable and sustainable world.

Collaboration and partnership (SDG 17) are also emphasized as key objectives of the Recognition Project.

Tax reduction factor

It is also beneficial for the applicant company if it is able to deduct its energy-efficiency improvement investments and developments from its mandatory tax payments, provided that these data are collected, available, and traceable.

Support for Energy Savings Obligations

Traceability and verifiability are a fundamental requirement for demonstrating mandatory energy savings at the end-user level. The program supports more effective compliance with the requirements set by the European Commission through the introduction and application of the UN strategic Energy Transition Fuel category, as developed by institutions that train and research governmental leaders, governments, international authorities, and their leadership.

It is recommended to use systems that are also capable of measuring load characteristics in order to provide verifiable data in the future. One such system is the 3B Green Plus smart dispensing telematics, diagnostic monitoring black-box control system. Its level of intelligence, configuration, and technical content can be defined according to the company’s needs during installation, and later it can be further upgraded or simplified depending on the company’s evolving investment and operational requirements, as well as the required level of comfort, design specification, and technical complexity.

From a tax perspective, its support makes development-oriented green procurement exempt from fees, while the monthly cost is limited to data traffic.

Tender CO2 reduction

All data must be handled in accordance with GDPR regulations, which apply both to the Green Plus Group as the issuer of the application and to the applying company, as well as to the employee or employees submitting the application.

Tender CO2 reduction

If you help your company, you will not only receive a salary but also an additional service fee.

More accurate reporting further benefits both the company and the reporting employee. Employees who demonstrate an 8% or higher load-related reduction in fuel consumption may not only earn the trust and recognition of company management, and potentially additional financial rewards, but also become eligible for compensation from external funding provided by the UN Recognition Project, proportionate to CO₂ emission reductions and fuel type.

Therefore, in addition to the basic auditing fee of 1–2 HUF per liter of fuel, they may receive an additional 1–2–3–4–5–6 HUF per liter, depending on the reduction in CO₂ emissions and corresponding decrease in fuel consumption achieved through the use of ECO-labelled Energy Transition Fuel.

Tender CO2 reduction

Officially certified health and technical improvements reduce the rate of climate change.

The use of ECO-labelled fuel supports this process. Previously used standard fuels should continue to be used, and—using either manual or automated smart dosing systems—the fuel must be conditioned according to prescribed blending ratios with the Green Plus formula, the Biofriendly Green Plus environmentally friendly liquid ignition and combustion catalyst, provided that no alternative energy sources are available, such as air, magnetic, ionic, hydrogen-based, electrical, or other alternative and clean (carbon-neutral, zero-emission) energy sources.

The Green Plus Fuel technology provides long-term beneficial and certified lifespan-extending effects on fuels, engines, boilers, turbines, as well as on human health and the human body. It is safely used by fuel refineries, fuel terminals, petrol stations, transportation companies, agricultural, mining and construction companies, municipalities, railway and taxi companies, and private individuals through direct ordering, and in some countries it is mandated by regulation at every refuelling.

EU Energy Savings Obligation

EU directives impose mandatory energy savings requirements for all Member States (ec.europa.eu/energy/sites … ents/hu_neeap_2017_hu.pdf), which the Hungarian Government also planned to update by 2020. The regulation was expected to be enforced by March 2021, but it may still be delayed after further fine-tuning. Additional proposals are subject to approval (ec.europa.eu/energy/sites … le7_hu_hungary.pdf; europarl.europa.eu/doceo/ … ).

Article 7 states in detail that it primarily targets large companies and encourages energy efficiency, but the intended annual 7% improvement in CO₂ emission reduction falls significantly short in terms of practical implementation compared to the regulations.

The UN Recognition Project goes further; there is very little time left until 2030 in a climate emergency, and it introduces incentives to achieve real and significantly higher levels of CO₂ emission reduction.

The further aim of the program is to prevent the introduction and long-term implementation of global restrictions affecting nations and necessary for the survival of humanity, in order to restore the Earth's ecosystem. It provides an opportunity for cooperation between individuals and companies to stabilize sustainability conditions until the transition to zero-emission energy use or carbon-neutral periods is achieved.
